I just wanted to share a few more things about Louis, honestly I could fill several of these lists about him and those connected to him. Louis Zamperini is an American legend whose life story is nothing short of inspiring. From his early years as a troublemaker to his time as a prisoner of war, Zamperini’s resilience and determination have inspired millions of people around the world. Although Zamperini passed away in 2014, his legacy lives on through his accomplishments and the lessons he left behind.   1. Louis Zamperini was a track and field star. As a young man, he was a standout athlete and competed in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.
